Description
This is a Walthers 173-516 N Scale Pullman 4-4-2 Imperial Brass Sides Series Sleeper. Photo-etched brass sides for streamlined passenger cars. Window openings and grab iron holes are etched through, with additional etched details on the surface. Sides are undecorated and can be used with various passenger car core kits, sold separately. Comes with instructions. From 1938 through 1942, Pullman-Standard produced over 220 lightweight sleeping cars to plans 4069 and 4072. These prototypes are members of a family of five pre-war P-S lightweight designs which also included the 6-6-4, 13 double-bedroom, and 18 roomette sleepers.
