This is a spectacular MTH 20-3125-1 O Gauge Southern Pacific AC-6 4-8-8-2 Cab-Forward Steam Locomotive and Tender 4126 with PS1. from 1998. Features include a high performance Pittman motor, an operating ProtoSmoke system, a remote controlled proto-coupler and it is equipped with ProtoSound digital sound package with freight yard sounds designed by QSI.
This locomotive does not include DCS (Digital Command System) features because it has ProtoSound 1.0. Only locomotives with ProtoSound 2.0 and ProtoSound 3.0 include DCS functions.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. This locomotive ran in forwards, but not reverse. Our repair team could not find anything that would be causing this issue. Please see repair cars for more details. This locomotive would make a great candidate for a project train! The battery has been replaced with a BCR. There are nicks and scratches present on the surface of this locomotive and tender. The wheels show average run-time. The instruction manual is included.
