This is an MTH 10-1060 Std Gauge NYC Tinplate 400E Steam Locomotive and Tender w/PS1 from 1997. Features include a precision engineered pittman motor, all metal construction, an operating headlight, bright, baked enamel finish with brass trim, an operating protosmoke system, operates on standard gauge track, a protosound DCRU electronic reverse unit and equipped with protosound featuring squeaking brakes and passenger station sounds by QSI. This locomotive does not include DCS (Digital Command System) features because it has ProtoSound 1.0. Only locomotives with ProtoSound 2.0 and ProtoSound 3.0 include DCS functions.
These items have been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. The locomotive and tender show some scratches and spots of paint loss on the shell and chassis. These items are in excellent overall condition, free of broken trim pieces. These items show some signs of light previous use. This locomotive does not include DCS (Digital Command System) features because it has ProtoSound 1.0. Only locomotives with ProtoSound 2.0 and ProtoSound 3.0 include DCS functions.
