Here is a Lionel 6-9317 O Gauge AT&SF Blue & Yellow Bay Window Caboose 9317 from 1979. This car has a bit of an interesting history. Originally, when Lionel brought out the 8872-73 Santa Fe SD-18 Diesels in 1978, they also made a 9174 Santa Fe Caboose in prototypical red and black markings. However, many collectors complained that it did not match the locomotive, so Lionel made the 9317 the following year to match the engine. This car is lighted and features plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels and axles.
